Our name is not an accident. Caricap is an acronym for both Caribbean Central American Pipe and Caribbean Capital. The Caribbean and Central America is where pipe is measured by inches, reflecting our deep understanding of the region.

From sourcing and financing to delivery, we simplify the export process for manufacturers and buyers. We know pipes, the ins and outs of cross-border transactions, and how to get things done.

OUR FOUNDING STORY

In the late 1980s, Chris Fulton set out on a mission to combine his passion for international business, cultural exchange, and travel. With a vision to bridge global markets, he founded CARICAP to specifically focus on export trade and make a lasting impact throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

In its early years, CARICAP was dedicated to sourcing and supplying fittings for PVC pipe factories in Jamaica and Costa Rica—laying the foundation for the company’s future success.

What began as a simple venture has evolved into a well-oiled team of highly seasoned professionals solving complex challenges in the pipe industry.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

At CARICAP, we believe clean water and strong infrastructure are the foundation of a better life. Since 1998—when we joined the Aqueduct Project in Hondovai, Dominican Republic—we’ve backed organizations that bring long-term solutions to underserved communities. Because for us, doing good business has always meant doing good.

BLUE MISSIONS

We’re proud to partner with BLUE Missions, one of the first organizations we supported. Long before they gained international recognition, we shared their vision to connect families across Latin America to safe, reliable water systems. Through youth-led service trips and sustainability education, BLUE is building a future where access to clean water will be accessible to all.

LIFO MISSIONS

We also support LIFO Missions (Living Instruments For Others), a Miami-based nonprofit working deep in the Dominican Republic’s interior. LIFO focuses on clean water, education, and healthcare—developing self-help projects in partnership with local churches and NGOs.
